Storytelling and Puppetry

I was fascinated by storytelling and puppetry at an early age. As a child I saw all the great puppeteers: Marionettes from Italy, The Puppetmongers, and David Anderson now of Clay and Paper Theatre. I trained in storytelling and puppetry through the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) and Toronto Public Library (TPL).

In the 1990s, I built and wrote the scripts for two puppet shows still in use in TPL today : Tug of War and Ashung Meets a Ghost. I  also, as part of the 1998 production of the York Cycle, performed with Poculi Ludique Societas where I was puppeteer and dancer.

Over the years I have told stories at the Transac Club (through Raconteurs),  Buddies in Bad Times (through Mayworks Labour Festival), Nathan Phillips Square, Metro Hall, the 519, Now Magazine Lounge, the Gladstone Hotel.
