One of my favorite lines in the British drama “Luther” is made by the villain (?) Alice. She tells Luther, “Change the state of play.”
I have opted to do the same thing, as I look increasing up at 50, by embracing my role as advisor (as opposed to “coach”), brainstormer, consultant, and public speaker. I was born with ideas written across my forehead. And I know everybody. Seriously. Those I don’t know, I will meet eventually.
