A lesson from Justin Trudeau

I was watching the Canada Day on the hill speech at my mother’s house.  Mom and I were in agreement – the Prime Minister was there and the man was working the crowd.  He addressed the issue of the 150th birthday (something to which I was always ambivalent, and I’m not Aboriginal). He seduced the crowd in that I’m -too-sexy-to-wear-shirts kind of way.  And in near the end, he did an individual shout-out to the territories and province.
And he forgot to mention Alberta.
Media lesson one – count on your hands if you aren’t sure.  Don’t rely on the teleprompter.
